Join El & Holly for a cosy, self catered retreat in the heart of North Wales. Every location's been chosen through years of local wandering, swimming, paddling and hiking - tried, tested and properly loved.

North Wales has always held a special place in my heart. I lived here for three years while studying Outdoor Education & Sports Science at Bangor University, a time that deepened my love for its mountains, lakes, rivers, forests, and coastline.
During those years, I discovered hidden gems and learned about the region’s rich history and language. I’ve always wanted to share this connection... but only with those who will respect and care for these landscapes as much as they deserve.
This retreat is my way of doing exactly that: a small, mindful group adventure that honours the magic of North Wales while keeping its secrets safe.
Why This Time of Year
Autumn in North Wales is simply breathtaking.
The crowds have gone, the air is crisp, and the autumnal colours of orange and brown are in full swing. The lakes and rivers are cold and alive, and everything feels beautifully still. It’s the perfect time to slow down, reconnect, and immerse yourself in the wild.
Accommodation
We’ll be staying in a cosy Welsh home. A warm, welcoming base to relax and recharge after our days outdoors.
Rooms: Twin rooms (shared)
Shared spaces: Lounge and kitchen area for communal downtime
Meals: This is a self-catered retreat, giving you the freedom to cook together, enjoy solo meals, or treat yourself to a meal out at one of the local spots.
What to Expect
Each day is packed with at least one yoga session and one wild swim session.
You can expect a range of lake, river, sea and waterfall swimming, breath work sessions, as well as outdoor yoga practice, optional inversion workshop, and plenty of morning and evening stretches. Each day we will recommend optional additional activities in the area, and mindful group activities led by us.
What’s Included
3 nights of cosy, private accommodation as a group. Arrival 30th & depart 2nd November in the morning. Itinerary to come.
At least 3 yoga sessions with a qualified, experienced teacher (Riverstone Yoga)
All yoga equipment provided
3 guided and coached wild swims with a qualified, experienced swim coach (SwimW.Ell)
